We ask that all guests please read our Q&A's. This will answer many questions that you will have in regards to traveling and logistics. Additionally, Cornelia, our Wedding and Travel Specialist is available to answer any of your questions and assist with booking the best deal for you!   

How do I RSVP?

To RSVP for Allison and Raynard's wedding you must place a deposit of $100 per person for your room accommodations and round-trip ground transportation by November 30, 2022. To place a deposit CLICK HERE to review the resort, travel accommodations and pick your room! Once you have selected your room click "Book My Room" and submit your reservation form. 

Can I bring a guest(s) with me?

Invited guests are more than welcome to bring their spouse or fiancé/ee to the wedding. Since we are limited to the amount of guests that can attend our wedding ceremony & reception, unmarried guests are welcome to bring a plus one to enjoy all other wedding weekend events with us; however, the wedding ceremony & reception is invitation-only, unless otherwise granted permission by Allison or Raynard. Children are not allowed (no exceptions) outside of those who are a part of the wedding party. Passport Travelers Agency can arrange travel for these additional friends and family members coming to vacation, but not attending the actual ceremony and reception.

When is the RSVP date?

The resort has limited availability (due to social distancing and other factors); therefore, we are asking for invitees to officially RSVP by making a deposit of $100 per person to secure your accommodations on or before November 30, 2022 to be added to our reserved room block and group activities throughout the wedding weekend.

When is the final payment due and payment schedule?

​Due to the large room block requested to accommodate all guests, final payments are due April 15, 2023. Partial payments are encouraged, but not required. Reminders will be sent frequently. After final payment is made we highly encourage you to secure your flight, purchase our attire for the weekend, and start getting excited!

Payment Plan Example: Double Occupancy - Junior Suite Tropical View (9/7/23 - 9/11/23) + ground transportation 

Total Amount = $730 per person ($1,460 total if there are two people in your suite)

October 2022 - Deposit - $100 pp ($200 total)

November 2022 Payment  - $105 pp ($210 total)

December 2022 Payment  - $105 pp ($210 total)

January 2023 Payment$105 pp ($210 total)

February 2023 Payment - $105 pp ($210 total)

March 2023 Payment - $105 pp ($210 total)

April 2023 Final Payment - $105 pp ($210 total)

You're welcome to pay your balance however you choose, as long as your total balance is paid in full by April 15, 2023.

What is the cancellation policy?

Deposit Due - $100 non-refundable deposit, per person - Anytime before November 30, 2022

Final Balance Due - Anytime before April 15, 2023

(We recommend that each guest purchase Travel Protection. Following April 15, 2023, all rooms are under 100% cancellation and refunds must be requested from the travel insurance supplier)

The minimum initial deposit is non-refundable. All following payments are non-refundable following the final balance due date. Any date changes or reductions in room nights, room type, or occupancy that take place following the final balance due date are subject to cancellation fees. Any applicable refunds must be requested from the travel protection supplier. Travel protection is highly recommended for all guests. 

Who do you recommend for Travel Protection?

We recommend booking travel protection along with your itinerary. See Travel Protection options HERE. This travel protection plan must be purchased within one week of booking your room. If you are looking for independent, outside coverage that is purchased separately, please do your research and book with any trusted travel protection provider as soon as possible. Cancellation fees are non-refundable, except through qualified travel protection reimbursements.

Do I have to book with Passport Travelers Agency??  

Yes, we request that all guests only utilize our dedicated planner and travel coordinators at Passport Travelers Agency as it will help us to keep the entire group organized and included in our planned group activities, and informed of logistics and frequent updates. Everyone will receive a group discount and you’ll always pay less than the internet by using Passport Travelers Agency and most importantly, you will receive concierge level service from Cornelia. 


Additionally, Passport Travelers Agency has flexible cancellation policies and flexible payment plans, making your travel arrangements even more affordable and convenient. If you've ever tried to contact an online travel company to make changes or cancellations, you'll appreciate the benefit of using a local, boutique travel agency (especially during times of uncertainty).


Can I upgrade my room?

Absolutely! As long as the resort has availability for your travel dates. See the Pricing page for rooms that we have

pre-selected in our group. If you wish to book a different room category, please indicate your desired room on your reservation form. Passport Travelers Agency will contact you with pricing and next steps.

What if my potential travel companion (roomie) is TBD, unknown at this time, or not ready to book?

Time waits for no one :) Book without them and add them to your reservation at a later time. Since rooms are first come first serve based on the room block availability, be sure to reserve the room for just yourself and we can add them when they are ready. Solo occupancy hotel rates are higher than double occupancy. When we add your travel companion in the future, you'll recognize the double occupancy savings. Rates are refreshed at the time future changes are made.

What if I find a price that is cheaper than Passport Travelers Agency?

Passport Travelers Agency attempts to secure the lowest rate possible within the room block. We also allow the ability to make a flexible payment plan payment arrangements and with refundable options in the event of an emergency. Online travel companies often offer non-refundable rates higher prices for accommodations and ground transportation 

Is round-trip ground transportation provided? 

Private round trip ground transportation is an additional $50 per person. Private transportation allows no stops and only members of your wedding group are able to be transported with you.  Transportation companions are based on arrival and departure time to the airport. 


Will there be any other events during the weekend that I should prepare for?

​Yes. Please stay tuned on the "Itinerary and Attire"  page for further information, and especially as the trip approaches. Please review the attire underneath each event very closely. 

What does “All-Inclusive" mean?

All-Inclusive resorts offer: All you can eat (gourmet restaurants and buffets), All you can drink (alcohol, mixed drinks, daiquiris, and non-alcoholic beverages), Entertainment (the resort will have daily and nightly activities including shows and a night club), Water Sports (kayaking, paddle boarding, and other non-motorized water sports are typically included), Room Service includes 24-hour room service of food. (Check the resort link in your invite for specific amenities offering at your resort)


Are there excursions that we can participate in? 

Sure thing! When it gets closer to travel, we will work with the group on planning a group excursion and we'll keep the group posted on any updates. Also, there will be optional excursions listed on the website for those interested when time permits during your vacation. 


What is the best way to find good flight deals?

Flights are purchased separately, and we suggest setting up flight alerts. Our favorite is Google flights and Hooper app because it includes a wider range of airlines. Use search engines to find the best deal, but remember to book the flight directly via the airline to maximize your flexibility if your plans were to change. ​


Do I need to have my passport prior to making my deposit for the trip? 

Passports are required at the time of travel. As long as you provide Passport Travelers Agency with your full legal name, you can arrange travel in advance. Instructions to apply for passports can be found here. Please allow 8-12 weeks for standard passport applications to process following your scheduled appointment with a passport "acceptance facility". If you do not obtain your passport prior to travel, you are responsible for any associated cancellation fees.

What are the COVID-19 guidelines for entry and return to the U.S.?

Currently, the COVID-19 test is NOT required for entry or departure into Mexico. Passengers may be subject to health screenings and/or declarations, including temperature checks at the airport. Those exhibiting symptoms may be subject to additional health screening and/or quarantine. We recommend that all guest obtain a voluntary COVID-19 test prior to any international travel to "know where you stand" prior to travel. 

Will I be charged to accept & make phone calls, use the data network, & send & receive texts while in Cancun?

If you do not have an international plan attached to your existing domestic plan, this yes, most likely - and the charge/minutes or messages rates are not cheap! If you plan to use your phone will in Cancun please reach out to your phone provider and inquire about your international plan. We also highly encourage downloading WhatsApp as well. You can make and receive phone calls & texts from a United States number - as long as the intended recipient has WhatsApp as well.

What if we plan to enjoy Cancun and extend our stay?

Feel free to extend your Cancun stay for as long as you'd like. The suggested date range for all guests are September 7 - September 11, 2023 to attend all events throughout the wedding weekend. There is a 3-night minimum requirement for all guests. 

Does Passport Travelers Agency LOVE referrals?

Yes! This is a great question. Passport Travelers Agency is a minority, woman-owned and managed small business that is 100% reliant on "word of mouth" referrals.
